You already know something of the art of Graeme Hopper even if you don’t realize, as our designs for TUSKs 2018 and 2017 were based around collages he had made – and which have also been one of the subjects of our huge projected exhibitions at Sage Gateshead. He’s also provided designs for the album covers of Moor Mother and more.
And he makes music too as Chlorine. Pulled together on his laptop studio, the sound of Chlorine uses found sounds, samples, noise and Graeme’s own percussive constructions to produce a sound with seemingly endless layers through which to fall. And as well as the 7 albums and more he’s released in the past few years, we’ve also just seen the release of his collaboration with our very own Posset on the great Chocolate Monk imprint. A long-time TUSK ally and supporter, we’re delighted to finally include the sound of Chorine in our programme.
