Andrew Liles brings a rare live set to TUSK – in fact his onstage activity is in exact inverse to his recorded output, seeing as he’s already released eight album-length recordings in his own name this year. He’s perhaps best known for his catalogue of contributions to the albums and live shows of Nurse With Wound and Current 93 but his solo works necessitate a veritable cottage industry and to date he’s appeared on well over 200 very diverse releases. He’s also a compulsive remixer, often taking beloved tracks and turning them into towering, confounding epics, recent targets including Black Leather Jesus, the Groundhogs and Sisters Of Mercy.
Andrew’s music is also inescapably visual – you’ll find almost as much visual as sonic art on his website and you can expect his live set to grab your various senses by the lapels.
